Arteriovenous Malformation fighter and survivor Shalon Whitglob knows a thing or two about dreary hospital stays and lackluster gowns. With embolization procedures once a month (a procedure used to combat AVMs, a potentially life-threatening localized malformation of arteries and veins), Shalon decided she wasn't going to be subjected to depressing clothing while being poked and prodded each visit!
Thus, 'Feel Good gowns' was born - an online shop where you can purchase beautiful and cheerful gowns designed by Shalon herself!
The 'About' page of FeelGoodGowns.com reads:
"With monthly trips to the hospital, founder Shalon Whitglob was appalled at just how sad and dreary the hospital issued options were. A girl can't let fashion slide…even at the hospital! Taking matters into her own hands, she designed a gown that was both functional and fashionable. A gown that made her FEEL GOOD. And the rest is history!
Why do you need a super snazzy hospital gown?
Well because it isn't ANY fun to be at the hospital. This simple luxury will help the patient to feel comfortable, calm, inspired, optimistic, and hopeful!
FEEL GOOD GOWNS are designed with YOU in mind. Everything is customized to fit what you want and need in hospital attire. Our full range of products are sure to offer designs and options that will reflect your personality and the way you want to FEEL during your hospital stay. The price for a gown runs at around $40.00 each, with matching accessories to choose from. If you or someone you love is going through a hospital procedure, you can be sure that this gown will not only cheer them up - but will keep them cheery until they return home!
